It amazes me how they hire people that don't want to do thier job, some of the packages I need are urgent and for this one particular worker to tell me that she got my package but she's not going to do it until she closes instead of walking 5 feet to a shelf and just getting my package like everyone else does. Completely lazy!
Package came in the morning, I went into at 2:38pm to pick it up. I know where it's at, it was a white box on the shelves to the right of the computer that the postmaster uses. I pointed to it with my yellow card and she said she'll have it out tomorrow, that today's mail is not up yet. SERIOUSLY it was right there I SAW IT on the shelf. I'm not sure if she is overworked or needs an extra helper there or lazy. But I'm assuming she's not lazy since she is always up and about doing whatever. The United States Postal Service in Bay City needs to add at lease and extra worker in the morning for her to help out at the very least, I'm guessing it might be a lot of work to sort things out with one person.
Unfortunately, the postmaster does not keep the accurate hours at this location. I went today at 10:40, and waited 15 minutes because another customer stated that he saw the postmaster pull up and park as he was getting out. When we went outside, she had already gone. This location is supposed to be open 10-12 today, but I am fairly certain it was never opened. The package I'm waiting on will have to wait until next Saturday when I can go again.
